What kind of arrow speed are you guys getting out there that have draw weights in the 42 to 48# range? Also(don't yell at me but), what is the heaviest carbon available? ......Charlie

I don't know actual speed, but I have a 45# Redwing Hunter that puts em out there pretty good.

I'm shooting an ACS CX 52#@29". Beman black Max with 100gr brass insert, 125 gr point, 5 1/2" par feathers. Total arrow weight is 570. Going around 174-175 fps. Just bought some Beman MFX classics that set up the same way should weigh around 590 gr. Both arrows are 340's. My guess on the heaviest shaft available would probably be the Grizzlysticks.

My 40@26" TD longbow I made shoots a 530gr arrow 160fps. Not too bad for my 26" draw.
Gizzlystick safaris should be the heaviest I believe.
