Nice one Charlie or "nice two".  I hope to run into a pack of jakes similar to yours...I love them Jakes for their thickness of skull.  Especially these Merriams.  I saw one beat up his partner after his partner had been blasted by a 12 guage at 10 yards. They are a bow hunters dream and what I always call-in first.

Tryin the string tracker this year for the first time...but with 15lb test.  Guy said thats all he was able to get the last few years.  They stopped making the 30# he said.  Let me know if you know a spot I can order some 30#. Pretty Please.
Oh-yeah....you-da-man! Almost forgot.    :clapper:

I'm gonna run this to the top one more time just to say thank you to everyone who gave congratulations and compliments. It means more than any will ever know to have the recognition of my brothers in bowhunting.

   :notworthy:      :campfire:

I'm going to list a few equipment particulars just for reference and hope that I see the same from other story tellers. I think it can only help the newer guys in our ranks.

Quiver... Selway 6 arrow side mount bolt on.

Charlie, you say you're using the 4-blade Magnus w/ 125gr adapters...are you cutting a slot in the adapters for the bleeder?  How are you cutting, w/ hacksaw?

thanks!  :archer:

Kevin... I've found the most accurate method for me is to cut a slot in the adapter with a Dremel tool and cut off blade.

I screw the adapter into the shaft and clamp it all lightly in a vise. Then I line up the head the way I like it and mark the adapter. Cut the slot and that's it.

It doesn't change the weight of the adapter enough to matter.

I've also done it with a metal cutting blade on a bandsaw and by hand with a hacksaw. Slow but gets the job done.
