There are albino deer, there are also white whitetails. IIRC the difference is white deer have color to their eyes. It is caused by a genetic disorder from what I understand. I saw a deer like that in Avon, CT about 3 years ago driving to work one morning. I thought I had seen a ghost but both my passengers saw it too.

It is in the same area all the time. I seen it closer one time but I didn't have a camera and I think it is a buck. I will try and get a better picture...Howard
