How does he do it? Has to be a mistake!

$345 with a half dozen arrows! Osage with Purpleheart accents, elm veneers over actionboo, and will shoot fastflite. No wonder he's getting a waiting list. Good cast, quiet and solid built. Great job Maddog Archery!

He builds some nice bows. My girlfriend loves her midsize recurve. My oldest son is chomping at the bit waiting on his midsize longbow to get here. Not only does Mike build great bows but he is very easy to talk to and help walk a fella through placing an order.

I don't know how he sells them for that price.

I was on his site yesterday. When I'm ready for my first custom bow, it will be a Maddog bow.

Mike doesn't make excuses why he can't do something; he just does it.  For the archer who's wallet is not regularly filled with extra cash, he is a blessing.  Maddog Archery shows there is a market for quality merchandise that doesn't require a home equity loan.  Others could do it as well....they just don't.

Thanks David.  It's possible because I don't eat much, don't have lots of toys, and I'm pretty much low maintenance.

You know, I offered to do Mikes photography for him and he noted that if he got too busy it wouldn't be fun anymore. I think he is a man who REALLY enjoys what he does and wants everybody else to be able to enjoy also. What a life.

How?  Jigs and a system.  Bet if he has it down-pat and I bet he does, there is only 3-5 hours per bow tops.

3-5 hours tops ???????????????????????????,thats say 2 1/2 bows a day=10 bows a 5 day week, should't be no waiting list.takes me that long to do my lay out and glue up and get it in the form and the air pressure to it.when it cure's,saw out the profile, sand, rasp, file, rub, finish, rub some more, sand some more.course i'm old and broke up some, can't move fast any more.eye sights getting iffy.mike send me a hint or two.    :bigsmyl:        :clapper:    :coffee:
