They are slightly weaker (bend easier) than the new GGIIs, but are good shafts if you can get them cheap.

If they do not say xx75, then they are 24srtx. Good shafts but a much softer alloy.

Scattershot, edited my post meant the 24SRT shafts in the green anodized color, have some in 2114 and have shot them a bunch but havent done anything to damage them such as glancing blows etc...

I use to shoot them when I was a teenager back in the 80's. They were fine arrows but didn't seem as tough as the xx75 to me. They didn't seem to bend any easier but they wouldn't hold up as good on a tree richochet. For me richochet = broken not bent arrow with the game getter.
I'd buy them in a hearbeat and try not to bounce them off of trees.

The "Eagles" were 5056 alloy if I remember correctly, very soft, comparable to the more recent "Fall Stalker" entry level offerings.

Yeah, that changes the equation some. If I recall, those are very soft alloy, I think I'd pass.

The green eagles were sold as a less expensive hunting shaft. They were advertised as a altertive to wood arrows. If that fills your need, buy them. Do not expect to keep them straight or to restaighten them.

they are the same as the fall stalker easton shaft. Soft and not the same grade as xx75 . I think they were in the 96000 psi grade. But made good hunting shaft...you miss or hit a deer and they may be bent...but for 10 bucks a doz how can you go wrong....

at 10 a dozen why not pick up a couple dozen and make flu flus out of them? Or pick up a couple dozen to make small game arrows out of. You cant even buy dowel rods for that cheap?

I've used them(2117's) for hunting arrows. Used the good ones(XX75) for target/stump shooting as thats were I bend them anyway and the cheap green ones to hunt with. One shot, One kill!! Can't ask more from a shaft than that. Crest them up and they look good !!
