Billy Shipp you are a piece of work! You haven't responded to my email so I guess your still outside shooting that "purty little thing"!

My hats off to Beth for choosing the woods!  What an awesome combination! I'd have to say that is by far the best looking silvertip I've ever seen!      :clapper:

So tell us a little more about this secret wood burning on the riser      :(       You darn Texan's are an aweful sneaky bunch always leading us on....

I'm happy for you Brother! You had one "tough" winter and deserve the best Dave had to offer!

Quick question:  What made you smile more, the new bow or the 24 PINK Balloons I sent you after your little procedure a few months back?

      :biglaugh:            :biglaugh:

Hello Mister Golder....I kinda figured the special name burned into the bow would get a rise out of you, but like I said....I ain't tellin nutin.

The bow does shoot really nice, and I'm very pleased with it. I tip my hat to Miss Beth for her tireless efforts in the creation of this bow.

The bow did put a smile on my face for sure, and the PRETTY PINK BALLONS had me busting out in laughter at a time when it really did hurt terribly bad to even grin....and I still hold that against you.... however, nothing can hold a candle to the big grin on my face each and every time I walk into my bow room and look at the 2 smiling faces in the picture sitting there. The memories and excitement of getting a new bow will eventually fade, but having that picture to look at will bring a smile to my face every day until I leave for the happy hunting grounds.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa now Bill....don't jump to conclusions about it  being Tim's name on that bow....would you do ANYTHING nice for a guy that sent you Pink Ballons when you were down and out, just so he could have a good laugh?

Jack Jr, Maxwell, Deathmaster, groyce and Steve O, thanks for the comments.

Deathmaster, the rest is nothing spectacular. It's just a rubber stick on rest with the flipper sticking out to sit the arrow on....I'm sure a lot of our sponsors carry them....they run around 3-4 bucks, but I'll be more than happy to email you a picture of it.

Billy congrats on the new tip, it sure is a beauty. Great choice on the woods.

I lucked into a Silvertip last year and bought it. I didn't know what I got till I started shooting it, wow, you are going to love it. I got it and a extra set of limbs and a bow case for a little over 500.00. Even a blind hog finds a acorn once in awhile. Did I mention the dozen arrows and a new string.

Thanks for the compliment Fred.

Wolleybugger....Don't you feel the least bit guilty for stealing that bow? Shame on you....you show no remorse at all  (:

Bows are very subjective, and as individual as the folks that buy and shoot them.

I doubt many of us have been blessed with the opportunity to try every bow out there, but I have been fortunate enough to shoot more than my share through the years. There are no generic bows that will suit everyone's taste and shooting style, but I have finally found the recurve that is right for me....I'm still working on finding that just right longbow, so now I'm wondering.....could it be one of Dave's 3 piece longbows?????....maybe a Charcoal Dymondwood riser with an arched accent stripe, Charcoal limbs skinned with some nice Diamondback skins....kinda sounds like another brain storm has been hatched....time will tell.

Ya'll have fun with whatever you chose to shoot.
