That's funny! I'm still eating an antique oak desk I killed 2 years ago. Wouldn't have happened if honeybunch had put that apple on her head like I asked her in the first place.

I haven't had any yet. We just finished butchering it. I had it sent in for sausage, though my hopes aren't high. My dad always taught me that if I shot it, I had to eat it. I'm hoping the sausage guys "loses" the package.

Love the witch comments! She's too great for that though. :-)

I question the ethics of going after feedbags with field points.

Seeing as how the deed is done, however, and finding yourself in possession of a deceased basement dweller, perhaps this would be an excellent opportunity to conduct a "dead stick penetration test" on said broom.

I suspect the feedbag would have been still running at this point, and leaving a scant kibble/grain trail.    "[dntthnk]"

This particular species is known for it's paper thin skin. Here in PA it is not only legal, but common practice to hunt this species with the single bevel field point. Penetration is never a problem with a properly placed shot and the single bevel field point.

Is a broom considered a varmint in your state? Or are they protected with a season? You'd better check your regs before you take down another one.

Yeah T.J., that one about killed me too when I read it! Yeah, "that's funny, I don't care who you are!".
