While in Arizona, a couple of rattlesnakes were nice enough to give up their skins, which I happily took home. I just got done applying them to one of Mark Baker's Classic selfbows, which was nice before but now I really like the looks. What do you think?

Love it!  I run screaming like a little girl when I see live ones, but merrily glue the skins of dead ones to bows all the time.  My wife thinks I need to talk to someone...

Are the scales still on the skin on the bottom limb?

The bottom limb skin is darker than the top limb; scales were removed from both.

That bow turned out great Pat!  I finally finished the limbs on my Zipper after returning back from our javelina trip:

What kind of finish did you put over the skins?

Josh,
Those limbs look great. I bet Conner won't come near them! I still haven't cleaned off the javelina blood on my Baraga.
Rev,
I used a polyurethane spray; Ace Hardware version.
