New shooter

Well, we had a little get together today. Brent (burnt), my brother-in-law and family came in for food a fun.

Daisy brought her boyfirend  :rolleyes:  ...

Turns out, he's not such a bad guy! When offered a chance to learn how to shoot a bow, he jumped at it!
 

Justin is an athlete and was picking things up pretty quick.
 
We had two cameras going and most of the pics wound up on my mother-in-law's. Atz awright; Memaw is a scrapbooker.

We did have a good time of it shooting my new water jug course and stumpin'. Brent,Justin, and I were joined by Daisy and her little brother, Dex .
 

The bow I'm shooting is Brushpopper, it is a laminated (Ash,Purple Heart,Osage) longbow( I got her from George Stout)  Brent is pictured with his newest, Snake skin backed, Osage. Justin is holding(not strung) a Bowstick u-finish Hickory longbow(built by Hawksnest) the yellow and Orange fletched arrows also came from Hawksnest.

SO, I had some friends and family here. Some actually, some in spirit.
