Thunder stick
« on: April 12, 2009, 02:12:00 PM »
I have a couple of jims moabs and really love the grips he puts on those bows. Anyone have his regular thunder stick bow,its the regular d shaped r/d? I took my liberty contender out the other day and now Im looking for another regular LB. So, any of you have any picts of his regular t stick and the grip? Also how is the 62 inch with a 27inch draw?

I own a Thunderstick MAG. It is a 56" 45# @ 28" RD longbow. This is a great shooting bow! Sorry no picts.

Scott,

I have a thunder stick I, 62", 49# @28". I have a 27 inch draw, the bow is a great shooter. The bow was made in May of 2005, it's the 112th TSI made by Jim. I'll try to attach a photo of it strung... I hope this works.

Thanks for the info guys. I havent seen to many of these bows around and have always wondered why they're not talked about much. I guess I'll have to start looking around for one.

Scott, I got a thunderstick mag last year and love it.The bow is very smooth.I recently asked Jim if he still makes the original thunderstick and he said his form broke but is working on making a new one.

I have the Thunderstick II and it's the nicest Longbow that I have ever shot. Mine is 62" and 64# at 28in.
