If the arow was cut back to 27" and a 125 or 145 grain point used, then you may be right Allen. Of course at that length and with a 125 grain point, that is only going to be about 425 grains total arrow weight. Which with a 50# bow is only hitting 8.5 gpp. I know you like that, but for me, I would rather be in the 10-11 gpp. Much easier to get there with a little stiffer arrow and higher FOC. Just answering from my own perspective, but you are correct Allen. It could work depending on what Chub wants in a finished arrow.
