I have recurves that draw as smoothly as The Magic Bow, and recurves that draw like there's a mule backing up a ladder on the other end.
It all has to do with limb design, and where the bow stores energy in the course of the draw, and what the limbs are made of, how long they are, and what length draw the bow is designed for.
Balance this against whether the bow is a tad heavy for you, which will make you want to "attack" the string and get it back quickly, and your subjective feel of the bow will likely be different than mine.
Most everybody who has tried them tells me that Leon Stewart's longbows have the smoothest pull they ever felt. Every one of his bows that I have pulled has impressed me that way. This year at Baltimore I will pull one, and compare it against my foam-cored glass Cheyenne, and I bet there will be but a gnat's breath of difference. And I have no clue which will feel smoother.
Maybe you should get out there and do some testing your own bad self! There are worse ways to spend one's time.
