TIP FOR DOUBLE BULL OWNERS

Anyone that has one of the Matrix or Dark Horse blind. Sewed into the interior of the carrying bag (in bottom of bag) is 3 extra rod end - hub ends. So just incase you have one break on you the solution is right in the carrying bag. It may say this in instructions someplace but if your male, most of us don't read instructions.

Obviously this is frequent problem. Goes all the way back to their first blinds. You'd think that by now they'd have solved this problem instead of just sending out extra parts.
Personally, I solved this problem, so far, by replacing the plastic tits with screws. I'd think using some sort of metal dowl in place of those plastic tits would be a better/permenant solution.

Agree with Joey- personally I would save the trouble and buy a different blind.

Joey,
Those plastic tits you speak of have been long done away with. You have an older model blind. I have several of those older ones as well. The newer ones have a different metal ball on end of rods. I loaned out my blind and my buddy busted one of ends. In my experience these things along with older ones break majority of time due to operator issues. People fight and wrestle with these things to the point where it is commical at best. I tell em all if you have to fight with it - your doing it wrong!!! I'm sure Americas funiest videos could go half a season with clips of guys trying to put these things up!

True, hunt it, mines an older version. Glad they've changed.
WRT the newer rod ends, what is, and how, are they breaking?
If they're sending out replacement parts, they must be aware of a design flaw.

We replaced the broken plastic tips with short pieces of welding rod.

Joey,
If ya wrestling with it something has to give either you break the rods or the rod end balls that fit in hub. If your blind has plastic ends with tips-tits whatever, you have an old blind and my info does not apply to your blind.
Guys designed this so that easiest piece to replace breaks when excessive force applied. Most just don't know the fixin parts are sewed into bottom of bag.

I think they only have the problem with the Imports. I've had one since they came on the market, same rods.
