How is D97 Sold ?
« on: April 20, 2009, 04:15:00 AM »
Over here in Australia there is a shop selling D97 in 375 foot lengths . Is this different to a 1/4 pound roll ??? Or does a 1/4 pound roll have 375 feet on it ?

No, the 1/4 pound roll is much larger.  Mike at the nocking point also sells d97 in 375 ft. rolls and that's how I buy mine.  375ft is plenty to keep me in strings for a while since I don't make them for anyone else.

They have D97 in new 1/8# spools now also along with 1/4# spools and the 375 ft rolls.I believe I made 6-8 two bundle strings from two 375 ft rolls. But a better buy is the new 1/8# spools, they are only $5-6 more then a 375 ft. and you can get alot more strings out of them.
