Thanks- great story.

Wow Dan,
Nice story and great pics too! Way to hammer those gobblers, brother.

Yes, I agree the Shakesphere is a very under appreciated bow.
They are all very well built and are decent performers, especially if you do your part too, (as you seem to have a knack for!)

I would like to get a 56", 50 to 55# Kaibab
to hunt with out of a blind myself. I'll keep my eyes peeled!

Again, I am glad the bow has so obviously worked out for you!
Harry.

I'm a big fan of Shakespeare bows.    I bought a used one and that's what got me back into the Trad Way.  Fine shootin' old bows, oh yeah, congrats on the bird.  :clapper:

Thanks again for all the nice comments guys. It sure was fun shooting those birds but now that my tags are filled I wish I had something else to hunt. I am going to do some guiding for friends and maybe I might pick up a leftover tag somewhere in western SD.

Good luck to the rest of you folks out there looking to fill some tags!!!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.
