Metamorphosis of a bow
« on: April 21, 2009, 05:05:00 PM »
Here are some pictures of a V-Archers longbow being built for me. It keeps looking better and better.

Doesn't look like it's going to be much longer of a wait for you.  Nice looking bow.

Thanks Ya'll   :campfire:

Talondale, I should have it sometime in May. I can't wait to get it in my grubby little hands.

Killie, he sure does, and that means a little somethin' "extra" coming from the "queen" of the pretty bows. You have some lookers yourself.

Leo, Nope.......sorry, you can't have it.  "[dntthnk]"

That looks fantastic!  Dumb question...How do you get an idential match between the two curved wooden blocks that go together for the riser?

Adam, that would be a question for Arnold to answer.....I wouldn't have a clue.

Arnold sent me some more pictures of my bow today, out in his backyard for a test run. He said later today that he was taking her to an outdoor range, and put her through the paces. Maybe he'll take a few more pics too.

Here are the latest photo's.
