A bunch of guys have posted some very positive comments about Mike's book.  Wensel/Mitten Productions are a Tradgang sponsor. They have a banner running on TG which links to more book info plus the Brothers of the Bow website.

There is a LONG thread with many reviews if you do a seach with "wilderness" in the subject, you should find it.

This book is unlike any other.

It is not a how-to book, but it is PACKED with how-to information.

I think Mike does a great job of getting the essence of the hunt through to the reader.

It's a great read. As you consume it,you'll feel as though you've tagged right along with Mike on his adventures.(minus the sore muscles and altitude side effects, of course!) Enjoy it for all it's worth.

As others have said, very good book.  Full color photos throughout.

Knobby is right; you get the feeling that you've actually been with Mike when he tells a story.  He has a simple, sincere style that makes you feel like you're sitting with him and talking together.  He's done some phenomonal things hunting by himself, but he never sounds like he's at all impressed with himself. Highly recommend it.
