Well it was almost two years ago my wife eye'd an old bow in the corner of the local bow shop and said she'd be interested in learning to shoot a recurve with me. She practiced, and patiently let me blab on and on about form and such. In short order she was a 3D shooting machine! Last year was her first year hunting and she and I had a lot of fun, but no close encounters with wildlife.
Well Saturday morning she and I pushed on through sprouting fields,a steady misting rain, and distant rolling thunder and set up on a hill top in an old double blind. The turkeys were gobbling at the thunder and she and I smiled at each other each time a bird spoke up.
The morning passed with birds far away, but I knew we were in a pristine location. Brittany was napping while I practice my mouth calls. Suddenly from my right bobbed five red heads.
