Well---have you all day?---If you have buddies that will let you try some of theirs, it might cut the learning time.
All mine are cut off too short for you---have shot PSE's, Carbon Express in a couple of iterations. Tried weight tubes and adapter weights. Had a lot of problems finding a good combination--- Settled on Grizzly Stik Alaskans---my longbow is labeled 60# at 28'', but I draw only 27. Arrows are cut off to 28": 225-250 grains glued to the factory brass inserts gives an arrow that bareshaft better than I can shoot. They are tapered shafts, so they seem to be more forgiving than the other shafts.
It is fun to experiment---but expensive. Enjoy.
