If I ever get a new bow,  it will be another LX!

If there's a better bow out there, I'd sure like to see it.

JMHO, but if it's a RER bow, it is smooth, quiet and fast!  I've had a Vortex, a 3-PC T/D recurve and still have a 54" Arroyo that is a jewel of a bow.  It is rather basic with a Mahogany riser and black glass over Actionboo cores.  But the bow is a shooter and a keeper!  I've had it for almost two months now, believe it or not, and it will remain in my collection of hunting bows!

I've got an XR coming....and want an LX, myself.  We'll see.  If I like the riser, I'll order an LX.

Well, my LXR should be in my hands tomorrow;) Love the looks of your bow Joe, mine will be a Ziricote Riser with a figured Anegre archs, also went with the Olive Ash Burl Vaneers, hope you don't mind;) Mine will be a lefty though.
I did see Whip's bow this past weekend at the Sparta,WI. 3D shoot, she's a looker as well.

You guys are kill'in me.  I've got a new CLX on order and it won't be here for some time.  I'm sure glad I read these threads because any questions I had are now answered.  Mine will be a combination of Tiger Ebony/Bocote riser with boo limb cores and figured Bocote veneers and horn tips.

Does anyone hve the "C" compact riser like I ordered?  If so, how do you like it?  Thanks.

Post some more pictures.  His website doesn't do his bows justice.  I may end up buying another one!

I don't know doodle about arrow woods and can't post pictures... Gonna guess my "new to me" RER LX has bamboo core limbs and bacote all over. A couple of days ago I might have parted with her, but not now!

Got the day off from work and did some shooting in a relaxed frame of mind. This bow puts 2016's, 11/32 POC and compressed ramin where I look. Feel sorry for those pine cones!

And to think...  :knothead:  I almost let her go.

I'll 2nd that hand shock. That's my main concern when buying a bow. Do not care how great it shoots or how great it looks, if it has to much hand shock I'll pass thank you.

Just got my LXR today. All I can say is WOW. Gorgeous bow. I only had time to shoot the LX Longbow limbs after work. I'll tell you this, there is no handshock at all with this bow. Mine has 60" limbs and I found it very smooth to draw and as I said no handshock. Can't wait to shoot the Recurve limbs. Spits out an arrow pretty quickly as well.
I'd say RER has a winner with this bow, I'll post some pics and a more thorough writeup after I get my chronograph fixed, or would anyone beleive that the last recurve that flung an arrow through it registered 600 FPS;)

What can I say that hasn't been said.  As another very, very happy LXR owner, it is everything and more that has been already posted.  For the dollar spent, it is well worth the investment.

A +++ is the fact that Kevin and Sue are a pleasure to work with.  I'd say that if they aren't at the top of the list for their customer support service, they aren't far from it.

Have only had my LXR for a day. Shot the Longbow limbs yesterday and the Recurve limbs today and I'd say it is a toss up between which I like more. Both limbs shoot very well. I have always liked shooting a longbow more, but the Recurve limbs on this riser appear to be just as smooth as the longbow limbs. Have to shoot them some more tomorrow to compare them more closely, but I'd say so far I am just as confident shooting either set of limbs with confidence.

The LX is a great bow. I received mine a little over a year ago. Just like all of the other bows they make-excellent workmanship-beautiful-fast-forgiving-quiet. I currently own 7 RER Bows and I have nothing bad to say about them. Not to mention a great bunch of people. Family run company.

Good luck!
