Let's see your bocote!

I'm dying, over here.  Mine won't be here for a couple weeks......and it's my first ever recurve.  Bocote veneers over boo.

Let's see some bocote limbs/risers!

Here's some with cocobola. It has matching limb veneers....and my noisy dog's.  It's a Blacktail VL Elite...love 'em!
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.

I built this bow to celebrate 30 years of bowhunting whitetails.  64" 70 lbs @ 31" I veneered .020" bocote over red elm for limbs.  Riser is cocobolo and bocote with osage accent stripes .......Hard to beat bocote! As this bow aged it got darker.  Quiver home made....yeah that's a leatherman tool on it......It's fun to catch dapple sunlight on a exotic hardwood bow as you wait in your stand or as you stalk along.  One of life's simple pleasures.......
