Suggestions for my next bow?
« on: May 05, 2009, 11:25:00 AM »
Hello folks,

as I am upgrading in draw weight my next bow is to be bought. Perhaps some of you experienced guys can help me finding one that suits...It can be hard to decide with so much bows on the market, so i thought why not ask the wise men round here.

The specs i ´d like to have on it:

TD Recurve / Longbow (3 piece)
ap. 55 #
draw 29''
lightweight
tough and robust(as all hunting bows should be)

The most important thing is I am not able to spend more than max.450 $ (less is ok, though i know good bows have theire price)and i cant wait for a very long time (got an overseas trip in Autumn)

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!
(Another problem will be shipping costs from US, but that i will figure out myself..)

Thanks alot!

P.S. those folks who read this the second time, yes i already posted the question on another forum, but the more the merrier   :)

Rivers Edge Recurves LX. It is a light mass weight bow you could gert in Actionwood for the base price in either the 3 peice take down longbow or recurve and it would be a nice bow!

In that price range I'd look at Foley Custom Bows or a Bob Lee Hunter TD longbow or recurve (both sponsors).

Might check Bob Lee's instock bow list, Rob may have it ready to ship.
