I'm getting the "new bow itch" and these are the only two models that really interest me.

Any feedback from folks that have shot both would be great.

I recommend the Predator also. Although I'm biased because that's what I shoot! Fast, smooth, and accurate. Check out this link of me shooting mine on youtube:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THrvNwSCr-s&feature=channel_page

I have shot both and I like the Predator very smooth bow.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Predator is a bit faster but the Kempf is smoother drawing and quieter in my experience. Grips on the Predators tend to be inconsistent in size so try a few or ask a lot of questions to get one that matches up well with your preference. Best advice as given above is to try both if you can first.

Thanks for the kind words, Ruddy (broketooth). I was shooting my Predator last evening and was shooting pretty decent so I went and got the camera and had a good session on the first take.

Ive never shot the Kempf, but one thing about my Predator is that I'm glad the string silencers work 'cause before I installed them, my bow was really loud. But it's not bad at all now, with Hush Puppies on the string. And I gotta say it is very smooth drawing though, to me anyway. Like Vermonster said, try both first if possible.

Bmac

I have no experience with a Kwyk Styk but I really like my Predator.

Guru

I've never shot a Predator....but I can say without hesitation that if you buy a Kwyk Styk from Jack you will never regret it!

Buy if you don't, you might......

They have every quality that makes them an easy to shoot, smooth, fast hunting bow!

Dave you can't go wrong with either one. Both are top performers. What the hell ,life's too short, get both.                                           Myself the kwyk-styk is #1. Just got off the phone a few hours ago with Jack. Finalizing the details on my 56". Great man to deal with.   Take care  Mo

It`s awesome, that just about ANY of the bows available could be recommended with confidence.

So much quality out there to choose from!

That being said, I love my Predator.
