For general everyday carry, a CRKT Mini My Tighe.  For hunting, a Buck Alpha Hunter blade.

Swiss Tinker in my pocket every day.

While hunting I tote a Puma folder since 1970 this is similar size but lighter than the Buck 110 folder. I have cleaned a couple hundred deer, a few hogs, and a couple elk with it. I like the clip blade and the steel keeps a very good edge.

The smaller version of the Marines Kabar on my belt when in the wilderness.

This is my Ricke folder, I have grown to like the folder more. I like the low profile on my belt. This baby hold an edge, I gut & skun a bear & whitetail & it still shaved hair.

This year I am gonna carry this one, it is my first I made this year.

Homemade knife (& ax) is 13.75" w/7.875" hollow ground blade. Just finished this a few days ago with some polishing left to do. It's scary straight razor sharp! Thought I'd carry it for clearing lanes and tree trimming. Cedar accents top, bottom, & bolster. Handle is oak.

Thanks Cody for the pics.

This is one my wife bought for me.  It's the best knife I've ever had and I've had many.

Ichiro Hattori, 63 years old craftsman, was involved with knife making at the age of 18 when he joined his father's knife company "Masahiro". In 1971, he has opened his own workshop and started producing high quality Hunting knives for export with buyers brands including Kershaw, Browning, Beretta, Tekna etc.

His fine works have been quickly recognized in the U.S. market as the custom quality knives with the detailed hand works. This reputation came from his nature to seek the finest workmanship without any compromises. In 1993, he has entered into a domestic market with his own name and line, and instantly captured Japanese knife users as the finest Hunting knives ever offered in Japan.

It's not very traditional, and not for everyone...but

My favorite hunting knife right now, AND ONE I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WHO IS TRYING TO PACK LIGHT for whatever reason, is the Spyderco Moran Featherweight upswept. (They make a drop point version.)

It is very very light, I carry it around my neck and it never notice it.  Most comfortable knife in-hand that I've used and the VG10 blade is great.

Have a mini-kabar that serves as camp knife,

Would really like to try a good 1095 knife like the RATs...the Kabar is just soooo dang "chunky" in the spine.

I carry a couple knives by KOA (Knives of Alaska) D2 steel and rubber handle material ...easy to wash off...purty is nice...but I don't like slick handles when they get covered in elk blood...

Dexter Russell canning knife.   Not very fancy but for $15.00 you get high carbon steel and a great blade design.
