New Yaller Widder
« on: May 06, 2009, 08:19:00 PM »
This showed up at the office yesterday.

Many here know my affliction with BW's.  When the PA series came out I knew it was only a matter of time.  The profile of the bow reminds me so much of the old Kodiaks and Super Kodiaks.  I have several of those and love to shoot them as well.  So I broke down and had Toby, Roger and the boys in Nixa fix me up with this one.

It's a 60 incher, 50# @ 29".

Needless to say I didn't get much work done at the office yesterday.  Or last night when I got home.

Cool bow, but must you type so soon after seeing the dentist? Oh crumb, I mean please translate "Yaller Widder" when that tongue numbing Novocain wears off...  ;)

Very nice Steve. You have to spend time outside with it, Osage just doesn't look right without a good tan.

Yeah, I really want it to turn that nice honey color and tone the yaller down a bit.  If I could keep the woodpeckers off it, I'd hang it outside while I'm at work each day.

With my luck those woodboring carpenter bees would take up residence in the riser.
