Does myrtle darken with age? Other than my hunting and practice shooting it does not get any direct sunlight but I swear my riser is getting a darker and richer look to it.

I don't think so. I have seen some rather old myrtlewood that wasn't very dark. I have a 2 yr. old bow that has myrtlewood limb veneers and they are still pretty light colored.
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.
