1965 Kodiak or Grizzly?

Hi, I'm looking for a good used shooter the same age as I am.My question is ,what would the serial # be to make it a 1965?I am not up on the Bear brand bows and any help would be greatly appreciated.ThanksHarry

Harry, it is pretty easy to date a 1965 Bear bow for that year the serial# begins with 5xxxxx.
