Honing three blade BH

Being somewhat of NOT a technical type of guy when I look at the new Woodsman broad-heads (3 blade) that the mailman just brought me and then lay them on a flat surface it seems to my mind that the angle is automatically set if one was to just keep turning a third at a time that by nature the angle will be fine. Can I use the natural angle of three blade broad-head to hone by just keeping flat and then rotating a third at a time? If not, what is the best way to hone sharp? Thanks for your help.

Start with a wide bastard file and set your edges, 2 at at time just like you are figuring.  Then I use a fine diamond stone using less and lighter strokes as I go until it is sharp.
