Want to shoot a new Zipper?
« on: May 17, 2009, 08:16:00 PM »
The Dunns just called me and are in route. They'll be in Rutland VT tomorrow. We'll do some shooting Tuesday night for anyone who would like to meet them and try their bows.

PM me and I'll give you and address.

If you'd like to turkey hunt we'll be doing that Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.

Dave, Check to see if they have a SXT with sassafras limbs with carbon and foam. I have a feeling he is pimping out my bow and making me wait on purpose  :banghead:

Hey David...ya'll have a blast!  Shoot one for me..about 48 @ 28 with a medium/medium low grip 60 inches long.  If it works could you go ahead and pick it up for me? lol   :)   Good luck to you guys and gals next week and hope to see lots of picks. And by the way, long bow limbs!
Thanks in advance!

By the way, I know you all have seen pics of or shot
the Standard, Extreme and SXT risers. When I say new Zipper, I mean riser number 4 is supposed to be here. I've been sworn to not share the pics of it, but it's supposed to be here to play with. So if you come, you get to be one of the first.    :bigsmyl:

It's supposed to be a surprise, but they're on the road and not online so.............lol

David,
I wish I could make it. Sure sounds like alot of fun. Do me a favor and shoot the SXT longbow limbs with Carbon/Foam & the Bamboo Core Limbs and give me a report. I was stupid at Kalamazoo and only shot the SXT recurve. Then after buying one deceided longbow limbs would be nice to have. Still don't know why I didn't shoot them while I was there.  :notworthy:    :notworthy:

Oh great! Your on Bill's side while the rest of us wait, and wait, and wait! I didn't say that out loud. Bill said if I complained it added more time. Can't wait to see the new riser at Compton's. Is it metal?

You have to attend to see. It's a prototype. Though he may not let me touch it, I've already told him a couple of things he needs to change on it. lol

I hear the SXTs have a finer, narrower grip than the originals.  If this new prototype has the same anatomy, I just might have to give one a spin someday.  Let us know what you think, Dave.  You know how we all LOVE new bow reports!!!!
