A start down the traditional trail thanks Doug77
« on: May 22, 2009, 12:16:00 PM »
A young man in his late 20's ask me about trad bowhunting a few months ago and I lent him my old Grizzly and some arrows, he loved it, so I decided to get him a bow and some equipment to get him started, he is only working part time right now and trying to raise a family so Doug77 sold me a solid K mag to get him started with. I put a GN quiver on it and gave him a dozen 1916 arrows tipped with 100gr magnus broadheads and some 100 grain field tips.  When I gave him the bow last night tears came to his eyes which was thanks enough for me. Just a BIG THANK YOU to Doug77 for the great deal on the bow. I think we have a young man on the trad trail and maybe a  bowhunting partner for this old man.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Dave,

Blessings like that are from the heart!  You are one of the good guys.  I hope the young fella stays on the right trail.

Doug 77 is alright, no matter what his buddies Jim and Rick from SD and MT say about him.   :)  clck, clck, clck
