Joe's friend spent the night last night, we took him out in the yard and gave him a few pointers on shooting a recurve. Kevin caught on real fast, him and Joe were practicing at a carp sized piece of foam while standing on our boat in the yard.
Today we went after turkey in the early AM. and then to do a little bowfishing. I'll tell you what things sometimes work out better than planed, the carp were in the muddy water and were real hard to spot, but the boys were letting the arrows fly. There was one nice one that rolled about 10 feet from the boat, those two guys pulled up and shot at exactly the same time. I looked and said one of you's hit him, they yelled out we both got it. Sure enough Kevin hit the thing in the eye and Joe claims he hit it in the liver, Kevin confirmed this by saying there's dark blood. You talk about team work   :clapper:  And those are real smiles guys I didn't even have to say cheese.
