If I wanna do some stump shooting, I use carbon arrows, won't it damage them if I am shooting them into stumps, I know to use a judo point but won't it hurt the arrow?? Thank you

Carbons are incredibly tough. But you will have your best luck with older stumps that have been softened with some age. Sometimes it can be hard to tell from a distance, but you will soon learn to recognize likely targets. If you hit a particularly hard one just make sure to check the shaft carefully for any damamge before shooting it again.
If occasionally you break and arrow it is a small price to pay for endless hours of fun! I enjoy stump shooting so much that it has been known to get in the way of a serious hunting trip!

I use carbon express 150's with a 1.5" section of 2117 to foot the shaft. This along with a hex head point and you can shoot just about anything that I can think of.
There is thread that tells what size footing you need for particular shafts and how to foot them. I used them to make up my own arrows.
If you hit a really solid object you have to watch for the nock to pop loose but with the 150's replacing a nock takes about 10 seconds.
If you don't see the original nock laying on the ground carry a few spares in your pocket fot this situation.
These arrows are so tough I only take two of them stumping in case one of them breaks. So far I have not had one break but I did have an insert pop out ounce. I prefer 2 ton epoxy that takes overnight to cure but couldn't find it the last time I looked so i got some gorrila glue to try instead. That was on the insert that popped out but it took an awfully lot of shots to knock it loose.

I'm with Whip-a small price to pay for a great time! I lose more arrows than anyone I know. I went to carbons from woods just for the durability. I CAN'T RESIST (though sometimes I want to!) taking that "impossible" , "if I miss this it's GONE shot!" :D I'm not rich or even wealthy but I am here but once and besides, most of us hunter types will squeeze of a box of .45's without a blink and not even think about it so why worry about and arrow?! Sorry for the ramble!
