I agree with what has been said, you must try em out and decide for yourself. What works for me, may not work for you. That said, it is hard to find one better than a 62" Toelke Whip (for me, anyway)...Mike

there are many bowyers who produce quality longbows but i must choose on what i call the "poorboys list"
bear montana
martin savana
i also own a robertson purist{bought used}
but now i am in the process of ordering a black widow thanks to my wonderful wife; just making sure of the poundage because this bow will last me until i am gone......

Mike Treadway's bows have shot the best for me.
I love my Turkey Creek, though.

That's like asking us to define traditional archery!

Let me rephrase that. The one you can afford and shoot lights out with. Anything after that is a bonus. The one that does this for you...

At 62" my Turkey Creek is the only one on my list and about the only carbon bow I care for.Shorter than that I like the Treadways as good as any if someone makes me shoot a short bow. :D

I have not shot them all, but the list is building as I get chances to try stuff. I liked the longer Shrews I have shot. I liked the MOAB a lot for its speed and it shot very accurate for me. The Fury Extreme I am shooting now is nice. So far the stand out for me has been the Cari-bow Peregrine.
