I wouldnt hesitate to buy one, very good quality.

Now is the time to get one too, they are discontinuing a lot of the Durawood T/D and have them marked down nicely. Wish I had some spare doe!

I think Bob Lee bows ARE "high-end" if not priced as high as others. I have 2 Bob Lee TD longbows at this point. 2fletch--while 80% of accuracy is surely the shooter's contribution, there are some bows that are natural, in the hand and to the eye, shooters. I've never shot a Bob Lee that wasn't a natural shooter, at least for me.

I just ordered a 54"/53# from Bob Lee.  I currently shoot a 58"/50#, 35 year old Indian Seneca.  Hope your "shorter bows" statement withregard to accuracy doesn't hold true in this case!

I ordered one directly from Bob Lee. Found out afterwards that I could have gotten the same bow from a dealer for 125.00 less than they charged me. Paul<><

I have shot a lot of other brands over the years and have not found anything that I shoot as good as Bob Lee's. If you ever get a chance just shoot it along side any other brand and you will see that they are stable, forgiving and hard hitting.

You can take this from a recovering bow aholic,Bob Lee is stable a fast with arrow that is 10gr per inch. I have shot most of the bows out there and the only ones I have are my Bob Lee. I like the idea that the father has handed down his bow building to his son. Rob has realy come into his own as a bower under his fathers eye.
