Brass inserts for Easton Lightspeeds?
« on: June 13, 2009, 11:45:00 AM »
I am planning on trying some Easton Lightspeed 500's. Anyone know of some brass inserts that would fit these?

Any that fit standard sized carbons work.
....Quality deer management means shooting them before they get tough....

They are not going to fit.  The lite speed is a target arrow with a wt of 6.5 gpi that takes a 9/32" point.  A standard 5/16" carbon shaft maybe a better choice for you.

Thanks BadgerArrow,
I am afraid I already have them ordered. I saw that 3 Rivers had several new sizes but they don't list all of the dimensions for the inserts. Guess I will give them a call.

They will work fine. The inside diameter is the same. The brass inserts slide right in.If you need confirmation I will be glad to take a picture of one stuck in a shaft.  ;)
