Big Bear down
« on: June 13, 2009, 06:02:00 PM »
Hi tradgangers,I just thought I would share a few pics of the bear I shot last nite. He's the largest bear I've shot to date.He should score over 20" and weighed close to 400 lbs. buy all estimates. It's been a very cold spring here in saskatchewan and huntings been slow. But last night this bruiser came in at about 9pm.and gave me a good shot.He only went 70 yards before expireing.I used one of my homemade bows, trad only shafts and ziwicky heads.I hope you all enjoy the pics.

What a BEAR. Congats
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Awesome bear, congratulations!!!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Now that is a BEAR!  Congrats!! Nice looking hide, too.  Watching him come in would get the pulse up for sure.
