Thank you, royalfox, from the Texas Faction. Are all you Texans gonna let him board this train alone? I'd like to see a few more NC reps on here too! Lot of States not on board yet! I know there are more Mason Jars than this layin' around with nothing to do.

C'mon guys n'gals - ain't ya ever heard of Christmas Club Plans , etc done by Banks to help folks save for important things??? AND with this Mason Jar in your own home you don't even have to trust the banks. That's a bonus right there! I've already got $1.47 in my jar (pitcher) for next year's St. Judes Auction.

I have been trying to get my Mom to Sell her Creations, and her answer was: "As long as someone gets some Good Use out of the things I make, that IS Payment Enough" Ya cant argue that, Bless Her Heart!

Lets go ahead and revive this for a little bit so that Gordie and others can get a chance to catch up from the beginning again.

Well, it dawned on me today that time had passed since starting this thread and putting forth "Tique's Challenge". Turns out it has only been about a month and a half, so that would mean I needed to have dropped at least a buck and a half in my "Mason Jar" to meet the minimum suggested. (I was hoping it would be a little more than that - but with septic tank problems and puter crashes, as well as a couple trad shoot trips, I really wasn't sure.) So I dumped out my jar of odd change and counted it. Well, I was happy to find, and am pleased to report, even under those conditions I am a little ahead of schedule. The amount isn't great - but the fact that it has worked in spite of "things", is most exhilerating. I hope others will find it encouraging. Please, go back and read the rest of the thread and see if you can't find your way clear to scout up your own Mason Jar for St. Judes. Oh yeah, the total that my odd change (tossed in now and then over the month and a half) came up to???   $4.54  Not bad for a forgetful ol' Marine, huh?

OK, I know the hunting seasons are upon us and they take "coins" too but don't forget to drop a few in your St. Jude's Mason Jar also. I,m not gonna count mine (perhaps anymore 'til auction time) but I know it is growing surprisingly and that I should be able to at least buy something. If not I'll make it a money donation, and every dollar counts, Guys n' Gals.

LOL - What ya do is dispatch the uncouth rascal, then he becomes famous, and then his "spitoon" will be worth big bucks as a donation on the next St. Judes Auction -   "[dead]"      :D
