Acadian Woods Tree Stick- Wenge & Myrtle Wood

Anyone have any pictures of a riser made of Wenge and Myrtle wood?? It looks real nice in my head, but I'd like to see actual pictures of it.
I have an Acadian Woods Tree Stick on order. Tim said it should be done in August possibly sooner! You can't do business or talk with a finer fella. He and his wife are good folks.
The Tree Stick I ordered is a 3 piece T/D. I told him I like dark woods/bow, so we decided on Wenge for the riser and he said he may put some nice myrtle wood with it! Bamboo limbs that he torches up real nice. Love that "dirty bamboo". 60", 53-54# @ 29".
Thanks in advance for any Wenge and Myrle riser pictures.
Mike
By the way, he has a nice 3 piece Tree Stick in stock right now! If it was my specs. I'd jump on it.

Mike unless you like the real light lines of the bamboo in the limbs have Tim stain them to match the darker woods.
I have some Myrtle in a bow of mine that is very nice. You have to watch it though I've seen very light myrtle and fairly dark. Mine actually has very light and dark in it.
I've always drooled over these bows. Would love to have one. Keep me posted on what you think of it.

Thanks TJ.
I'll keep ya posted on it and get some picures of it as soon as it'd done.
Yea, I don't like the looks of light plain looking bamboo. Hopefully Tim can get some real dark-"dirty" bamboo similiar to what Mark Horne uses. If not, he uses a torch to darken it up. I'm sure he would stain it if he had to. I like the dark bows,,, the bright flashy one's are purty, but does nothing for me really.

Mike I had a Myrtle footed with Wenge Blacktail with same vaneers on limbs and I wish I still had it. Great wood combo.

Here is one of my Blacktails. It is Shedua footed with Wenge and Myrtlewood limb veneers. I think you have a good choice of woods. Myrtlewood has a wide range of grain and color. Some has a lot of dark streaks and others are highly figured like this. You might ask to see what the myrtlewood looks like...?

Mike, I've got a one piece Treestick with wenge and walnut with bamboo limb cores. I too like the dark woods and didn't have any white glass used on the bow. I also have a three piece trestick with bocote riser and the torched bamboo limbs. The torched bamboo is very nice. If you want to see both bows send me your e-mail address. Drew

Thanks for the replies.
Snag, that's a nice Blacktail!
DC, I sent you a PM with my email address. I'd love to see picures of your Tree Sticks. I'm with you on the white glass. I'm going to talk with Tim about not using white glass in mine as well.
That's the great thing about a custom built bow, having it built just right...from the woods to the color glass!
Any pictures of Wenge and Myrtle risers out there??
