Any Gamemaster shooters ??
« on: June 25, 2009, 01:19:00 PM »
I love my Robertson's but I have a Gamemaster too. It just suprises me every time I shoot it how accurate I can shoot it. Feels like I am cheating when I leave the Robertson on the hook and grab the Gamemaster. I originally got it just because I wanted to try one out and after shooting it a while I have found it to be a fine bow. We have a 3D shoot this weekend and I am taking the Gamemaster and see how I do. I would never quit the wood but this thing is fun to shoot. My whole family calls it the "alien bow." Anybody else shooting them? I am the only one around here, that's why I had to buy one to try one. Nobody shoots Robertson's around here but me either, I just like to be different and a Gamemaster is definately different.

I have a Gamemaster 2. I gave $250 for it from a guy who was selling off all his archery equipment. Figured I could "Turn and Burn" and make some money on it.  Ended up putting an AMS retriever on it and it now serves as my bowfishing rig. Its not the most comfortable bow to shoot for me, but it'll sure sling them heavy glass arrows!

I dont have a GM, but have shot them, they are great! I used to be a bow snob, nice wood only, now have 3 quinns and a BW with Al. risers, and I shoot them better than any wood bow I have ever had! I have 2 warfs, one ILF and one not, great shooters, dead in the hand.

I have one and love the small riser.I just take off the grip and wrap the handle a couple times with a rubber bike tube.
....Quality deer management means shooting them before they get tough....

Dollar for Dollar,  one of the best bows for your money.  The limbs are the weak point, you can upgrade them real easy.

I want one. Other then that I don't have much to chime in on them about.
Ask me about CTO.

I shoot the GM II. I flat love this bow. It tuned easy, shoots quick, and holds on target great.
It fits my style shooting perfectly. Now if i can get my hands on a Dalaa too  :D

i have owned alot of fine bows..but..all i have and probably will have forever are my two Hoyt Gamemaster 2's. i have a 45# and a 52#( at my draw). every animal i have harvested and every 3-d shoot i have won, was all done with the 45# one. they are very tough bows and dont have to worry about getting any nice wood scratched.

btw- i will probably get a dorado too:)

I love my gamemaster as can tune it to shoot many different arrows because of so much center shot. like the brigded riser as makes a perfect carry handle. good grip, very functional, & a lot of adjustability. don't have to worry about scratching it.
