I would say the performance was pretty close to the same as the shorter bows.  This bow was mid 40's in weight so quite a bit less than I normally shoot.  Gregg had some 500 carbons made up that I shot out of this bow and they zipped pretty good from this lighter weight bow.  My dad shot the bow as well with some heavier wood arrows and it seemed to spit them out very well.

Hello there

Why a longer riser?
Why not the short riser with the longer limbs?

Wouldn't it ad more punch with the added sweetness.

Thanks
Fred

Fredouille,  Longer working limbs on a long bow, just add limb mass which does not recover as quickly. Longer bows generally shoot faster and softer in the hand with shorter working limbs. With the longer overall length, they don't stack either.   Of course amount of deflex/reflex has an big impact.

TNstickin, Riser length is 24", and could be adjusted some for different overall length.

Marco, we have not decided on a base price yet.  It will be more than the base Classic or Super Shrew. Lots more material and work in this design.

Thanks for all the kind comments,

Gregg

Boy Howdy!!!!

I've always admired the Shrew bow line from a distance....

With about a 32" draw I was afraid to try them.  Not to mention, I simply LIKE bows about 66" long.  Guess I need to add ANOTHER thing to my wish list....
Dave

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

Oh my........ This could earn a spot on my bow rack with my 56" Classic Hunter.....

You haven't commented yet to the inquiries of a long draw.  Any insight yet as to what it might be able to take?

Bob,

I pulled that one to 32" on my tillering tree, and it was still no more than 3#/in way out there.

How would a long bow be for a 26in draw?

Since it is a Model T, I suppose it is only offered in black?   Nice bow Ron.
