Old copies of TMB and Primitive Archer
« on: July 02, 2009, 12:04:00 PM »
I have serveral years of Traditional Bowhunter Magazine and also Primitive Archer.

Can anyone use them? Can I ship them to the service men and women overseas?

I would be interested in the Primitive Archer Magazines, but if someone can get them to the soldiers overseas, I would gladly pass.

Get me your address.  I will send via USPS Priority mail.  You send me a check for the shipping and some trade trinket.

If you want to send magazines to Afghanistan to a soldier it should be free. If you want I can check on it pretty quick.

The main thing you need is at least one address where you can send it. Are there any guys form the forum who are currently there or in Iraq? If you could get one address you could send them and have the guy at the other end pass them around. There is also MWR and the USO which are always looking for things like good magazines.

I was wrong about it being free unless you go through someone on this side who has authorization. Thats a bigger subject but there are people and organizations who can send things.

I did find a special deal for a flat rate of 11.95 which is a "Support The Troops" deal.

If someone can get me a APO address, I will send these magazines to the troops.

I probably have 25 of the same (TBM & PA) that someone gave me....along with that many others (D(D&DH/Peterson's/etc...).  I'm gonna send mine, too.  Thanks for the link.  I sent an email, just now.

Skillet,

Haven't seen you here for a while. Great gesture! That hawk you made me is still going strong.

Sent 4 boxes Saturday. Cost $10.35 each, a deal for sure because I stuffed each box as much as possible!
