Yellowstone Bows aswell as Pronghorn Bows both make a 3pc Longbow with the slender riser. I like a slender riser aswell, probably why I love my 21st Century.

I wonder if Yellowstone bows would put the longbow riser on the recurve limbs, because that's about what I'm looking for.

Rick at Striker bows is working on recurve limbs to fit his current 3/pc longbow riser. You'll have a hard time finding any that are smaller than his. I'm not sure where he is on the limbs but you can email him and find out. He is a sponsor here.

Second the Morrison. It has a very trim riser for a takedown.

It also performs pretty good, too.
Yours truly,
Walter

What Chad said, I totally forgot about Rick at Striker Bows, I have owned two of his bows and they are fantastic. His 3pc Longbow might just be my next bow, very slim riser.

Horne's Archery has two models that meet your criteria, and Ancient Spirits has the three-piece Kadiak.

Well I will say what others are saying about Bob Morrison. He makes a slim handle that feels very good in the hand.

Bob shot a dandy buck last year with his (check out his website) and there was also some guy named Gene Wensel or something like that that shot a pretty good buck. It was nice but probably could have been better in one more year...LOL

All kidding aside. I have a Shawnee and that is the one I would recommend you try. Shoot before you buy regardless.

Take care!

The Hoyt Gamemaster has a very slim handle, and since the riser is aluminum, very little wood.
