Arrows for my new longbow?
«

So I got my new longbow yesterday. 66" Bighorn Ramhunter, 66@28, and I draw it to about 30" Its a very nice bow, quiet and much quicker than I expected. Was wondering what arrows to try. For alums I was thinking 2219s, and carbons 340s or 300s with 200-350 up front. What do you guys think? FF string, arrows length of 31-32".
thanks

I have a 62# @ 29" 62” R/D longbow I've been playing around with and it loves my Easton Axis 400 (HIT insert) camo shafts cut to 30.5".
They have 100 gr brass inserts and 145 grain points...fly great! Total weight is 580 grains.
Might be a good starting point for ya.

Carbon Express 350's? That will be around 75 pounds or so, you really don't need that high of point weight for good penetration. You will need a heavy shaft to make your 8gpp. Bill

With that bow and the information you gave you are gonna need about 90# spine I would say the CX 350 with the 200-350 up front whould be close. Not sure on the aluminums, woodies would be 90/95
