Traditional practice points?
«
on:

What is best for traditional practice points on primitive arrows. There's 38 cases, trade points(these don't seem good for practice), fire hardening. With fire hardening, without the weight on the front won't it throw the balance of the arrows off? I'm not trying to build lookers, I'm wanting users. Any help would be welcome.

Mike Yancey is a sponsor here, and that's a link to points from his store if you really need primitive, fast.
Saxton Pope said 38 cartridge points were ok, and I will not argue with him being a trad. guy.
How 'bout an old 'turn of the century' nut, for trad.
I think our old ancestors grabbed a sharp bone off a passing mammoth.
Have fun.

Woodchuck,
Thanks for the info and the link. I'll see what I can come up with. 38 cases have always worked for me before, I was looking for other ideas that night work. You right, hard to argue with Saxton Pope.
Happy Trails
