I'm at the airport here in Dallas, waiting out a 3 hour layover, then on to Midland, where my trusty side-kick (Toehead) is picking me up, then on to Crane.

I'm thinking about what it will be like to experience my 1st javalina hunt, which will take place this afternoon, Lord willing!

We've got 8" of snow on the ground and calling for more Sun. then again on Wed. . Not supposed to be out of the teens for the next 7 days at least. I'm ready to head south!!!

Just finished putting the KME magic to 6 grizzly 160's. I am going with a 29" GT 55/75s from BigJim with 150 grains of screw in GT weights up front and 50 gr of .095 weed eater line full length. My Grizzlys are just about 200 gr. With the shaft I'm right at 670 grains. Out off my Black Widow MAII that is 56 @28" they should put the hurt on those Javies and pigs!

Would have been hard to tell if you'd had beans for supper!!!!  LOL

I guess I'll get my preliminary packing test this weekend.
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.

We're hitting the road around 8;00 PM. It will be about 12 hrs. of driving and a good breakfast away.

Looks like better weather than the first group had. I hope the rain holds off.
