I stopped shooting in my yard when I had a pool put in and I was shooting with the pool to my back.Momma would do me in if I shot that well.

Here's what happened 3 days ago when I didn't pay attention to the Highway Dept. truck parked on the other side of my stockade fence. I think that they were all bowhunters at the Hwy. Dept. because they just laughed at me. Everybody thinks its funny but me!  :knothead:

Tony,

That pool looked pretty clean to me, so no "dirty pool".

Brian,

If you'd been usin a single bevel, you'd have gotten a complete pass thru, "s" shape cut and all.

Remember even a "brilliant" brother will always be there for you when you need him.

Thanks for sharing.. Too funny!!

Oh look at it this way.. Most of life's lesson are learned from mistakes.. Hopefully most of them are someone else's' that you profit from.
That way you don't look as stupid as he does.

I shot with these brothers and their Dad at Htckory (NC State shoot) this year and they are real pleasures to be around and shoot with - as long as you don't have an investment in "the Pool" -   :archer:

My list includes and is not limited to:

1) Parents garage door widow, as a kid.
2) Parents aluminum garden shed, as a kid.
3) My downspout on the house, as an adult.
4) A cabinet door in my garage, as an adult.

I suppose this is not so bad for 33 years that I have been shooting. I always shoot with my back to the swimming pool, don't want to have to fix that one. Now I'll will just have to see if the curse will continue with my 7 year old son. LOL

I once shot a hole through my house with an unloaded .357 mag. scared the crap out of me. Hope to see you McMillians soon and good luck on the bow project. Don
