I REALLY like my fleece silencers!  I'll send you some for free if you need some... waterproof, burr resistant, quiet, CHEEP... so far no negatives.  I also like and use the rubber cat wisker type, but I get  the rubber at my fly tying shop and it's enought for alot of bows for $3.
Got that bow we have talked about down to 60#, but it is still lefty.   :(

I keep going back to the Wooly Whispers.  I have tried a bunch but just like the effectiveness and simplicity of the WW's.  I have not tried the Hushpuppies yet but I really like the Bow Hush I have on my recurve.

I shoot with Hush Puppies, they do a good job and look really good.

If I was not concerned with looks I would just use rubber, it works the best to reduce noise.

Quivet, musk-ox fur.  Coyote works well.  Carsicano ram wool.

Ninja,

I had a pair of fleece silencer and they worked well and held up pretty well.  Are you making your own?  Any photos of how you set your's up?

I'm using wool yarn puffs at 1/3 and 1/4 on my recurve and my longbow I just traded for has some kind of skin/fur silencer that look good and work well.  Steve
