Source for Cordovan leather

Is there a source where one could purchase a square foot or so of cordovan that won't destroy my wallet?
I like to make my own tabs but the leather I have now is a little too soft on the face and grips the string more than I like during release.
Thanks,
Rod

I just bought a peice. There is only one place that makes it in the US. this company has it. They only sell seconds though. I just bought a peice that is probaly about two square feet and it has a fist sized hole in the middle. He sells them as he gets them and they are all $90.00. I bought the last peice that he had in stock two weeks ago. However he told me that he should be getting more in soon.

I bought a piece that was 3x12 and it was about $20. I will look up the name of the place and get back to you later. The info is over at my barn and it is pouring rain here right now. If it stops I have to go over there later and can send it then.

I have some. I waited for six months to get some from Horween. Then I went ahead and bought enough to last awhile.
How much do you need? I can sell you one piece about 2 square feet for $75.00. or part of a piece for less. You can call at 919 563-2682 or send a message.

Hey Gents, Thanks a bunch for the info. I thought it might be pricey, but at least there's some around.
2fletch, thanks for the offer, I'll get back to you if nothing else pans out. After looking at your website I realized I have your 4 arrow quiver attached to my bow. Works great and helps quiet the bow down too.
