Just curious how many of you fellas are from Texas, and if any of you live out my way. Looking for someone to go stump shooting with from time to time.
Oh one other thing is there and 3D courses around. I never have even shot one, but would like to

RedTx, Some of us live in the Dallas area, some around Canton, Some around Denton. Denton has a trad club and has 3D. I have been wanting to check it out, just have not yet.

Sorry should have said. Flower Mound is north of Dallas. There was a trad shoot a few weeks back in Denton but didnt get the info till it was to late.
I would like to make it to the shoots farther away but it is kind of tough right due to my kid, and my wifes crazy work schedule.

I live about 5 miles from Lake Sam Rayburn in Deep, Deep, Deep, Deeeeeeeeeeeep East Texas. Fortunately, I own 75 acres that joins the Angelina Nat'l Forest. I've got more stumps to shoot than time allows. Too bad it's so far away. I'd love to have someone to shoot with from time to time.

TBOT is very active in the state and there are many traditional 3-D shoots all over the state throughout the year. May have to drive aways to get to some of them but most are well worth it. I am sure TBOT's web site has a list of some if not most of them.

Ovilla here. About 25 miles south of downtown Dallas. Danny Long (AKA Ric O'Shay) lives just south of me. Traditional through and through. Between now and June there are several outstanding 3-D shoots to be had. The closest is the Texas State Long Bow Championships being held Memorial Day weekend in Ft. Worth. The weekend before that there is a great shoot in Chester. Another good one will be held in Vanderpool the second weekend in April. Hope to meet up with you sometime soon.
