To long to be mailed.??
« on: March 28, 2007, 10:48:00 PM »
I just got an email from a bowyer that was being stonewalled by his post office. The bow he wanted to send was a couple inches to to long to mail, so being rather ingenious he just used a wider box and put the bow in diagonaly.
It is on the big bird headed for Alberta now.
I like those that think outside the box when problems come up.

108" which is length plus width of the package I believe.

It is coming out of Europe, and the restrictions are a bit diferent there. The point is that there is more than 1 way to do things. The bow is only 60" long but it had to be boxed wider to go.
